Membership in Inspire Washington is reserved for non-profit organizations whose primary purpose must be the advancement and preservation of science or technology, the visual or performing arts, zoology, botany, anthropology, heritage, or natural history and any organization must directly provide programming or experiences available to the general public.
NOTE: The Fiscal Year for Inspire Washington Member Dues is January 1 through December 31. As an example, Membership Dues FY’19 would be for the period January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019. Dues are calculated based on the organizations’ total revenue (excluding capital and endowment campaign revenue) for your most recently completed Fiscal Year.
Counts as Revenue

Earned Revenue generated from programmatic activity i.e., Tickets, Tuition, Touring Fees, Rental Income, etc. Do not include unrelated business income.

Contributed Revenue unrestricted or restricted to programmatic activities in that year. Restricted gifts for future years should not be counted until the year the restriction is released.

Proceeds from Endowment used for programmatic support

With respect to a state-related cultural organization, state funding received by it or for the institution it supports.
Member Dues are based on the Annual Revenue of the most recently completed fiscal year for the organization and are calculated as detailed in the chart below.
